should i actually remove the brake light and housing from inside the car and then drop those wires down into the trunk?

you got it.

so lets make sure you have everything working correctly. Both brake lights in the taillights should work now that you reconnected the wires you cut. If you contect the clip from the spoiler light, to the 3rd brakelight harness that you will need to get to from inside the car first, now all 3 should turn on

first id lake to say thanks for all your help im so close to being done i just popped off the rear brake light and housing from inside the car and attached the wires from the spoiler to that and the i reattached the wires that i cut previously so now it stands as the spoiler light on and the 3rd light off as planned just that rear left taillight will not go on. however when the lights are on it lights up just not the brake light is there any way i can fix this thanks guys

you snipped the wire that controls the braking function of the light when you were cutting wires. You could have even shorted out the bulb when you cut the wire. Swap the bulbs from one housing to the next and see if the light comes on. if it does, you need a new bulb. if it doesn't, you need to make sure all the wires were reconnected properly

i only snipped two wires the black and orange wires that were to the brake light but i'll try the bulb change to see if that works i hope thats all it needs

Thanks for all your help the spoiler instillation is finally finished all the lights are working you were right it was as simple as changing out the taillight bulb thanks again
