Search the forums. You have to modify the stalk among other things.

fogs are now just for looks, so if you want to accomplish this then do this.
low beams get connected to your fogs harness and fogs get connected to low beam harness. that way when you turn your lights your fogs will be on

On my rx8 I had to splice the fog light wire in the fuse box under the hood and tap it with the day time light wire. It might be the same for our Altimas...maybe.

^ if this is true then I have to do it on mine too

Right now I have my fogs wired up to my parking lights, then I put the light stalk at the 2nd level (parking lights and tail lights on) during the daytime as my day time running lights.

What I really wanna do is have them on all the time but keep my auto headlight function as normal so I never have to touch any lighting in my car.

The only way I see how is to put a relay into the fog light wiring and wire directly to battery or something.

Can someone clarify if there is a DRL wire in the fusebox or how to go abouts wiring this up? I'm interested too

This was a b*tch to do when I did it, mine automatically turn on/off
whenever the car is turned on w/ a switch to either manually turn on/off of course.

I had to run my own wiring and get a separate switch to make this function work
It was the easiest way for me, took about 3 hours lol.

Only way is to wire the fogs directly to a battery and switch. This question has been asked a thousand friggin times.

I bet it's no different or similar to this as of the 04+ Maxima's

04+ Maxima Fog Light Rewire

Just have to locate the similar relays and fuses etc and try it out.

I did a rewire on my 96 Maxima 10 years ago done through the ORG family. The guy who first did the write up for my 95-99 Maxima figured the way to do it on the 6th Gen 04 - 07 Maxima's when he stepped into one of those. I was gonna do it on my dads 05 Maxima but then he didn't want it lol.

I honestly can't remember all of it. Literally been 10 years. I remember something under the hood with a relay on the right? and I almost believe I had to run 2 wires and tap them somewheres. Little jumpers. I'm sure thats the one you are referring to? The ORG was amazing back in the day then I noticed a huge change in crowd over there.

Our cars are not the same as the older Nissans. The simple relay and some wiring in the engine bay days are long gone. Our fogs are controlled via the computers and modules now.
