Pass. rear window not working. Master switch?

The rear window seems to have stopped working. Will not go down or up when using the driver switch or the one on the rear door. I do notice that the driver's switch is "jammed." if I pull up or push down on both of the rear window switches i notice that the left one does not move the same amount.

Does the driver's master switch control how the window operates, like a dual light switch in your house? Other than using a volt meter, is there a way to tell what is going on with these switches. Just went out recently as I usually hit the wrong button at the drive thrus and roll the driver rear down accidentally

Thanks, I remember reading somewhere that the driver door panel is the brain of the operations in these cars.

Reading that you've used both switches and the window doesn't work with either, it sounds like the window motor has stopped working.

i was hoping the motor wasn't bad, just wondering if the window switch at the drivers door had some sort of control over the rear since it seems the switch is broken up front.

I hate replacing window motors

Would have to look at the wiring diagram to figure if that would happen. One way you can check the motor is if you have a multimeter you can put the 2 leads on the wires going to the motor and hit the switch. If you see voltage dropping on the meter when the switch is closed your motor is bad.

Disconnecting battery for a few mins as well as unplugging wire harness going into the motor and then pluggin it back worked a few times for me for small things like that.
If still nothing - get multimeter and do what BigTw1st said to troubleshoot.
