Siphon Gas out of 2008 Altima

Long story short, I totaled my car and need to get almost a full tank of gas out of it.

I have come to understand that there is a block in our gas line that will prevent one from siphoning out the gas. Is there any way short of destroying parts on the car that I can get out the gas.

I cannot jack the car up due to liability issues of where the car is being held and like I said I can't break anything because then the insurance won't give me as much.

Any advice is appreciated.

(I have searched and read previous posts but none were for a newer Altima)

don't do it.

don't do it.

don't do it.

don't do it.

DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Not worth the cash YOU are going to save. That being said.......

Disconnect the gas line after the fuel filter in the engine bay, if you can still get to it. And extend the gas line with some thing like a short garden hose (make sure it is clean) insert it into another car and turn on your car (just turn on not start it) and it will pump all the gas out.

But this is very dangerous. You can catch fire and I or anyone here would not be responsible for it if you catch fire.

2011 Silver S Bone-Stock.
Non-mod modded stuff....
OEM battery replaced at 2 years, with costco battery,
Tinted windows 'just a tad lighter than LIMO dark. 5k LED bulbs all around. 43K HID.
Pending.
Need Ambiance lighting for back cabin. Factory style spoiler. Blackout tape some stuff around.

I agree with these other guys. Not worth it. I left the insurance company a full tank after my wreck. :-(

Last year my 04 Impala was totaled with all the same items as you WW, AND only 210 on a newly rebuilt and upgraded transmission! That hurt ... but it lead me to my Altima ... so life goes on <grin>
