2012 Altima Not Starting

I've read through the forum of the issues with the 2007 - 2009 Altimas not starting due to the brake switch. I had the same issue this evening with my 2012 Altima. The dashboard lights, radio, windows, etc. all work fine but the car will not start. We had the battery tested and it turned out fine too. I ended up having it towed to my local repair shop and I'll go back in the morning to talk to them. In the meantime, has anyone experienced the battery switch issue on a 2012 Altima, or should I have the shop look at other answers for this issue?

I assume it's a 2.5. If so, a bad cam/crank position sensor can cause a no start condition. Can cause the same kind of problem on the 3.5, just seems to crop up more often on the 2.5's (probably just a volume/stats thing)

Coming back to close this out for anyone else who Googles the problem....

It actually turned out to be a blown fuse in the ignition. Being that we were in walking distance of our repair shop (although it was closed when my car decided not to start) and we have AAA with towing, we weren't out anything but time with this. Believe me that I have bought a full set of fuses to keep in my car for any future instances!

That's worrisome. Any idea why the ignition fuse might have blown in the first place? It could happen again...and what if it happens while driving?
