Hey guys. I am helping a friend who wants the 07 2.5 Altima, auto (CVT). Just a regular base edition (w A/C and power windows). Best I have been quoted so far is a sale price of 18,800 and another dealer quoting me out the door at 21,300. Do these sound good? The "Nissan National Sales Event" is going on right now, so hopefully this will help. She and I are going tomorrow (this weekend) and if we can't get a good enough deal, maybe next weekend (end of the month). Any feedback?
I talked to a salesman yesterday that said April 2nd is Nissan's fiscal year end and that they would be dealing those last few days to hit numbers. So you might want to wait a bit. I would recommend visiting on the 1st, then walk out on the offers they give you and wait for them to call you back the next day offering a much better deal!!!

Thinking about 2007 Altima Coupe
Ok always been a Toyota 4runner owner but my new job forced me to do alot of traveling so I have my sights on the 2.5s altima 2007 of course. I have an out the door price of 25,339.00 options include
2.5s w/ sl pckg
rear spoiler
xm connection pckg
splash gaurds
first aid kit
aluminum kick plates
sunroof wind deflector
floor mats
this price is out the door includes freight 99 dealer charge .05% Maryland sales tax.
What do you think?
I need the 2.5 because of all the driving so don't tell me I should opt for the 3.5 lol
I think I was like 26,300 OTD for my 2.5SL CVT, fairly loaded. I did get the spoiler and fogs at 1/2 msrp w free install as part of the deal because they werent on the car.
Hey guys, I purchased the '07 Altima 2.5S yesterday, was wondering how I did? Sticker on the car was $24,995 - I paid $24,006 OTD (final price was just over $22,000 if I remember correctly, the paperwork is inside). It has a sunroof, aluminum kickplates, mud guards, alloy wheels, fog lights, etc - the Conveinence package I believe.
I had no trade in, and I put 8,000 down. I was offered 7.13% as the lowest finance option - I took it to get the $500 recent college grad discount, I plan on refinancing through CapitalOne Auto, because they offered me 6.35%.

I dont know why you didnt go with NMAC "special financing" which isnt really low but you could've gotten 4.9% for 4 yrs or 5.9 for 5 years. BTW thats a great deal on the sale price
From reading other posts looks like I need to be slapped for paying 21000 +TTL for M/T Altima
2.5s
with Convenience Package mud guards, kick plates & mats.
So I suggest to other ppl looking to buy the 2.5s base model start negotiating from 18,700 or 19,400ish with the conveniance package, or 500 less for M/T.
Dont go more than 1000 above those numbers and you've got a screamin deal unlike me
Pretty much everybody got a screaming deal compared to me... so whenever I want to make somebody feel good about what they paid when they are feeling bad I just tell them I paid MSRP minus $500 rebate.
I mostly mass emailed all of them told them what I wanted and waited for offers. Never set foot on the dealer until i was happy. Always email the internet sales manager. Call him let him know you will pay invoice, and not freight nor the $500 over there is already a $800 holdback on this car so your leaving them with some money! haha. I got the 3.5SL, technology package, window tint, wheel lock, custom pinstripe (ridiculous what they try to charge), floor mats, only thing missing is spoiler which is on order. and well the VSC but it comes with traction control is all I need i live in Dallas... MSRP $32,985 got her for $28,800. And traded in my 05' LE Titan so had some money carry over. yes i traded a Titan and couldnt be happier, especially with gas prices!!!

every dealer has to pay freight, and it will be on your sales receipt one way or another

And I was starting to build so much respect for you about the price you paid... I am disappointed that you would trade a Titan in... so sad. But then again that's just because I am saving up for one myself.
yeah it was a hard decision to trade in the Titan. But it was a had to! My total bill was gettin close to $600 a month for gas alone. So had to do what was needed, very happy with the alty though!

I guess I wasn't even offered any "NMAC special financing"? I'm only 22, but my credit score is close to way over 700 and I have had steady, decent income the past 8 months. I also felt that 7.1 was too high, Capital One has quoted me the lowest at 6.35 - do you think there's somewhere else I could refinance through to save more money?
The only place that is going to offer you a lower re-fi is probably a Credit Union if you have access to one, but these day's they might not be able to get much lower. Just make sure to consider any finance charges that will happen if you refinance. If you only save yourself a piece of a percentage point, it probably won't save you enough over the term of the loan to make it worthwhile. Plus you would be going through all the hassle.
