I was having some problems and thought might as well get them fixed now so I don't have to pay later. Just to let you know, my car shakes going between 35 and 45 mph so (tires needed to be balanced but I played stupid) and my defroster button just doesn't want to come on. I've kinda been scared to go to the dealership because of some of the horror stories that have on the forum but I decided to man up and go. My car has some slight modifications so I was ready to fight them (since HID's don't make your car shake) and make them prove that my mods caused the problems. I went up there and the told the receptionist and she got some one to come check the car out. I was sweating bullets because I just barely put my car club sticker on and I thought he was going to say DENY! I showed him the problems and he said it's all covered under warranty (sigh of relief). Then he told me to tell the receptionist to get the "driver" to take me home. So they took me home now I'm here waiting for them to bring the car back. I'm glad to say the Nissan dealership in my city went beyond my expectations. Sorry to hear about the other people who had a lazy/bad service department. I'll keep you posted on the problems, which hopefully get fixed.

if you checked, you'd find most dealerships are like that. You just always have to remember, dealerships, and nissan are like any other business i 2 regards.
1. they want happy customers who come back
2. They want to make money.
and business for them (and any other company) is a balancing act between the two. you do everything you can to keep customers happy, but there are always customers you just don't want.
Lol! Don't forget asking for directions! I just wish the sales department would get on the ball. It's kinda funny when they asked me where I bought it and I told them at Chevrolet across the street. Anyways, they just called and said they're giving me a new control unit for the A/C and then charge me $50 for rotating and balancing the tires. So it looks like everything worked out great!
congrats! It would be immorally wrong to say that because you put lights that your car shakes, but i guess

When i had my 02 maxima the mass air flow sensor went. My intake is what caused it, it was a common problem with intakes on those cars.. I swapped it back to the stock and then dropped the car off at nissan. They saw i was lowered, had wheels, tints and all those things and they questioned me on the phone. They asked if i had a chip or something, which i didnt. I told them no.. They wrote on my receipt car is modified but they still had to replace the MAF because lowering the car cant cause that to go

That's why i've kept my OEM parts labeled with instructions on how to put back on, especially the intake. there is no way to blame springs, bars, or a y-pipe for mods (unless suspension) otherwise.
I had to put my stock intake on in a dark parking lot where i broke down. It was real easy to get to though, took me like 20 minutes. Once on the maxima i had to pay for a cv boot i believe it was.. they said the lowered suspension caused it to tear, oh well, it wasnt too expensive.
Depending on the dealership you take your car to they will react diferently. Some will automatically assume your mods caused whatever issue it is you are having, others will let slide and just repair the car.

So the a/c control unit came in and I took the car in to get it installed. Well the dealer called and told me that I was going to have to pay $100 to install a new fuse box because the LED driving lights I installed badly damaged the fuse box, which was not covered under warranty. I could tell by his voice that something was off so I told him that I would have to get it done later. Then he told me that he already had the origional fuse box taken off already. Now that was a big no no so I told him, "I'm sorry but $100 is a luxury that I cannot afford at this givin time." He got pissed and said the car will be ready in an hour. So I brought the car home and everything was fixed and working fine. So I get the handy dandy test light out and checked everything out to make sure everything was working. To my surprise, everything was working normal and there was absolutly no physical damage to any fuses, fuse box, or surrounding wires. Hmmmm, I wonder what's wrong with this picture?
just means that somehow they damaged the box while working on your car and tried to blame it on you. But you didnt fold like they expected and then they got pissed cause they have to eat it instead of having you pay for it.
That is not at all what happened.
What really happened is: they wanted to pull at least some money out of you and tried doing so by blaming your led setup for damages that are non-existent (allegedly)

exactly. they don't get any profit from warranty work.
however, it would also not surprise me if they f-ed up the original fuse box...does the one you have look different?

I think if you truly believe what you just posted youre an absolute moron. I HIGHLY doubt that the dealership would risk the potential lawsuit on saying they replaced something when they didn't. Do you really believe that this dealer would think that its worth it in the long run to do something like that. You have a lot to learn.
