Question 2 Projectors inside out housing?

Here's another one that might sound retarted.

When retrofitting projectors in our headlights why not get 2 projectors in there instead of 1? Both are bi-xenon, or just one, whatever, but BOTH for LOWs.

Might cost a bit more (projector + ballast cost) but while u're at it why not go all the way?? lol
Twice the amount of light on the road.

There only 2 CONS i can think of are:
1. too much heat that might damage the housing
2. too much light on the road that might hurt your eyes after a while.

...........just thinking outloud..........

Yes, whatever retarted is this sounds like it.

Bi-xenon is high and low beam contained in a single projector/bulb, it is not what you are describing.

Also twice the amount of light in an oncoming driver's eyes. I think the housings would not be damaged by heat, but rather by the impact of a blinded driver hitting you head on.

i think 1) that's too much light and 2) won't fit in the headlight housing. if you want the "twice the light on the road", then i'd say go with fogs with your lows, should be enough light, but I understand your mentality, that would be nice to have the extra light and it would look pretty killer

Bi-xenon is high and low beam contained in a single projector/bulb, it is not what you are describing - i know what bi-xenon is. Since i'm looking for both to be "lows" at least one of them has to be bi (if i want my higs that is. I do)

Also twice the amount of light in an oncoming driver's eyes. I think the housings would not be damaged by heat, but rather by the impact of a blinded driver hitting you head on. - even if they are properly aimed??? How???

won't fit in the headlight housing. - depends on the type of projectors used.

Ghey - i know you are

lol ^. Yea that sounds like overkill dude with four projectors. Sure it would look cool but would cost too much and just seem redundant. Why not just save that money and put it into something else? Maybe some DDE's?

i think that much light output would be OVERKILL, your getting projectors, there will be better light out put between them sure, but a single hid projector set-up should be more than enough.

I thought one word pretty much summed up what I thought of putting 4 projectors into your headlights. So i said it, lol. If you dont want peoples opinions then dont post up asking for them. Theres no rule stating I have to give a certain amount of words and reasoning to my response. You also could have chose to ignore what I said, but that makes you just the same as me buddy.

Def way to many projectors in the headlight. Super over kill. Older cars use to have dual projectors before bixenon setups were available. Though I have seen dual retrofits done on 4thgen Maximas using the R34 style aftermarket headlight they have available for them. But I believe they used a a foglight type projector lens for that section since the lowbeam area in the headlight got bixenon. There are vehicles now that come factory with dual projectors but they are not xenon and look like ass in my opinion as well as some of the older cars like older Lexus ES300's and GS300's.

Although I have a 3rd gen, I can probably offer some guidance here, as I retrofitted a dual projector setup. The link to the thread is in my sig.

Also keep in mind that HID's put off less heat than halogens, so heat wouldn't be the #1 issue in this situation, if an issue at all.
