Any way to have fog lights on without headlight being on ?

So I'm trying to wire my fog lights to be on without headlights or parking lights on and I still want fog lights to work with the oem headlight/ fog switch. Is that any why possible ? can I run a wire from postive termial on battery to fog light fuse or realy ? or can I tap into my power wire on my fogs and run it to my battery power side ? any help or can I bridge two pin on the realy etc etc anyone tired this or did this ? thanks...

I think there is a write up on here somewhere. I'm pretty sure it's for the 04-06 altimas though. Don't know if it'll be the same concept.

I only found it for the 90's qx4 or something like that. I'm pretty sure Nissan change the wiring. Lol

Yeah not sure if its the same but did it on my Sentra. Sure its gotta be similar.

I'm pretty sure they did one for 3rd gen altimas. If I'm not mistaken it was spoke that did the write up.

No. Older Alti's yes, but not this one. Best option would be to bypass the stalk and wire the fogs directly to a switch. Everything is controlled via the modules so it's not like a simple splice a wire in a relay box type of task.

Not that I have ever seen. I remember doing this mod to my old 2001 Maxima, and it was easy. Our cars though are a different animal. Everything is controlled through the modules.

OP u can buy a foglight harness relay kit on ebay and hard wire your fogs to it but ull lose functionality on the stalk . or try kP technologies fog light module
