If you've got a 3.5, whether 3rd or 4th gen., where you going to mount, belt and duct a supercharger?

What style supercharger are you thinking of? Roots style or turbine? Turbine might be the easier one to mount because the roots style would have some clearance issues without an aftermarket/custom hood.

You can almost always find a place to mount a turbo. A supercharger, on the other hand, has to be mounted either on top or to the side of the front of the engine, and have a belt drive attached, etc., plus all the related intake tubing. That's all where the problem lies with a FWD car in particular, unless designed for one from the factory.

I went to check my belts last night - just to see how they're doing (OE belts @ 41,000 miles)...

It's SOOOO tight in there...I could hardly get in there to even see the belts, let alone find a place to run one to another (ADDITIONAL) pulley...

I don't see the additional pulley being a problem. You basically add another pulley onto the crank. Unless it is really that close. Then again, I don't have the 3.5 so I'm not sure how tight it is in there.

bring the bad news

Sorry to bring in the bad news but this wouldnt work for one reason that i can think of. The 350z aka Roadster is a RWD car and the A/C is a FWD car, therefore the engine in the 350 is built from front to back and the A/C is built from side-to-side. You may look into customizing the engine bay as well as a hood in order to pull this off but with a little bit of money it's possible, if i can find the link this guy from the forums is doing it himself when i do find them i will let you know.
