What is everyone's opinions on HID bulbs vs. a full HID kit? Is there that much of a difference? is getting the kit worth the extra money and installation effort?
you cant have HID without the whole kit..yea them fake HID bulbs they sell at walmart or autozone might say HID on it...but its no comparisson..hid kit FTMFW..the only way to go..5000-6000k..no higher unless its more for looks..

thanks yea I knew the bulbs that say HID aren't really HID, they are just supposed to look like them. But it seems that everyone i talk to says they are shit. What is the cost like for the HID kit?
Crappy ebay $50 ones to good average normal $150 ones to brand name expensive ones $400+ ones. Depends where you buy them too, but that's around the ranges.
wow. for $115 i'll buy them today. thanks. Has anyone here bought/installed these HIDs? Just want to make sure they are of good quality with some first hand knowledge. also, how easy/difficult would the installation be? I installed my own intake this past sunday, would it be much more complicated than that?

read the post i gave you , there's 11 pages of comments , you can always message someone who ordered them and ask .
take out stock bulb, put in HID bulb, connect the wires, put electrical tape around, stick the ballasts/wires somewhere and your done.....thats usually the guide to follow
it shouldn't take you more than an hour to do the install , just follow the instructions . some kits require you to drill-out the cap on the back of the headlight , some don't . if you have any questions on the installation steps call/write/go to there web site of the company and ask .
