Nissan Altima Coupe 08 vs 09

I have basically been waiting for the 09 to come out before I purchased my Altima Coupe. Now I did this because one, I believe I could can maybe 1k to 2k off the 08 if the dealer has one lingering holding him up from getting another 09, but I also wanted to know if any changed would be made to the 09. Now I know no major changes have been made to the 09 but i'm curious if anyone knows if any little problems have been fixed. I figured since the 08 was a first year model for the coupe, maybe they made some improvements in the 09. I can't really find any info on the 09 does anyone know if this is the case? I'm afraid if I ask at a dealer ship they might lie either way, one way to get me to buy the 09 by saying yeah tons of stuff, or the other way to push an 08 on me and tell me they are the same. Any info or sites with info on the 09 would be helpful

Thanks.

This is from the debate about the 08 A/C and 08 Accord.

New 16-inch wheel cover design
New standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design for Altima Coupe 3.5 SE model, along with standard 235/45R18 Michelin tires
New high-gloss grille finish (previously medium gloss)
New auto speed-sensing door locks

Anyone else noticed the '09 is coming with a lot more perks then the '08 model?
The 18" inch rims(of course)
"Power windows with one-touch driver-side auto-up/down with auto-reverse
Passenger-side front-window one-touch auto-up/down with auto-reverse" Don't know about ya'll but my windows don't automatically come back up with one touch.
"Key-operated front windows up/down" Mine go down but not up with the key. Don't know if it's something i'm doing but can never get them to come up.
"Power door locks with auto-locking feature" Really wish the '08 had this.
"In-cabin microfilter" Haha not sure if '08 has or not but just noticed on the '09.(not that big of a deal to me really)

One thing the '09 doesn't "offer" is the Azure Blue in the 3.5 SE doesn't have the Blonde leather seat option (That's what mine has in the 08)

Now I could be wrong on one or two of these but i've only had my '08 for a few weeks now so haven't fully explored it.

'09 has: Different Wheels on some models. Includes automatic door locks, and now has a shinier grille insert.

'08s have Low NMAC financing deals and some extremely good pricing by dealers anxious to move product off the lots. I went with an '08.

The NMAC financing is not that spectactular right now. It was 3.9 til Labor Day and I wish I had bought then. Now it is 4.9 and I would do better by taking the 500 rebate and my credit unions 5.3 rate. And as for availability of '08s.... it will be hard to find what you are looking for if you are picky. I've been trying to get an '08 2.5 with conv pkg, moonroof and black cloth interior but they are not to be found. The one dealership that does have one in stock won't respond to my local dealer's request to dealer trade and they are quoting me quite a bit higher when I approach them directly.

Don't assume you can get $2,000 on a new car. For example the price difference between a 2008 Nissan Rogue from Invoice and MSRP is only $900.

Don't count on a Sales Manager going under invoice because then you're going into holdback.

I had a guy who wanted a 2009 2.5S Altima that's MSRP was $22,745 for $19,000 so we told him to walk after a while of arguing

The price on the '09s is going up a couple of grand so it's doubtful the dealership is going to take that much off the msrp on the '08s right now. Maybe after it's been sitting on the lot for a while.

I've been getting quotes for '08s at 21600-21800 and MSRP is 24100-24400. IMO that's a fantastic deal especially considering there's still a rebate. Like I said though, the problem is finding the colors I want. Pretty much only grey and dark slate left with the black interior. Can't find any black, red or blue.

08 coupe buy, a good decision or a bad one?

I was in market for 2009 Altima, but i just found out, most things that are new with 09 are not of GREAT importance for me. In addition, I was offered an 08 coupe, 2.5S with conv pkg for $20500 (incl. of everything(ie. $750 Rebate, Doc Fee, Reg Fee))
All I am being expected to pay over it is the taxes. Is this a good buy? How much should the price between an 08 and an 09 be?
Is there any thing I should take into consideration?
