Thanks. i have a 2.5s with no technology package so i didn't have steering wheel controls. Kenwood however makes a module that is plug and play to connect your steering wheel controls.

yes, it's very straight forward, you just need to run the nav module through your dash so that it's inconspicuous(sp?), other than that it's very easy. if you are uncomfortable take it to any stereo shop they will install for less than $100, if they want more, move on to the next shop.

Yea, I don't think I would feel comfortable doing that. I think when I'm ready, I'll just order everything myself and have someone install it for me.

Wow, both of those look so good. I'd definitely like to do this mod some day, any idea what it takes to tie in with the bose system? I wouldn't be surprised if it needed some kind of funky wiring. I'll search around, but any advice would be appreciated.

Hrm, I don't live in the ghetto either, but its not the safest place in the world, and I do have an alarm, but some thieves are just daring! Sadly, I can't park my car into the garage... Hrm....I'll have to think about it. Thanks for the info!

no problems whatsoever, it's a great deal for the amount of functionality it provides.

from GPS, to IPOD connectivity, to DVD player, Bluetooth, Sirus/XM compatiblity, to name a few.

i was on the fence between the D3 too, my reason for going with the Kenwood was that it looked OEM compared to the D3. Plus I don't like the flip down screen as that was an area that could potentially break.

don't get me wrong the D3 is a great unit too.

make sure you give the parts counter your vin# so they can verify that that is the correct bezel. make sure you do NOT get the BOSE bezel because it's wider than normal aftermarket head units.
Will Part#68260-ja00a fit in the 08 coupe???

The dealership told me that Part#68260-ja00a wouldn't fit in the 08 coupe, so I ordered one (for the coupe) from the dealership. When I picked it up today, I didn't fit. Huge gap surrounding my Kenwood DDX-514. My 68260-ja00a is coming next week, hope it fits.

yes it will fit the 08 as i have an 08. the parts people at nissian are morons. the one they gave you is for the OEM BOSE navigation.
