Part of the top of my shift knob on my Altima recently broke off. No idea how or why. I have a 6-speed and am looking to replace the broken knob. anyone know of some deent websites that sell various knobs that would fit the Altima?

in your sig you have short throw shifter, which out of those links did you use for the actual shifter as opposed to just the knob. I couldnt get a lot of those links to load otherwise id check all of them

yeah sorry that was from another thread made a long time ago so I just cut and pasted it in here but atleast you have the names of a few shift knobs that are compatable with the reverse lockout. i got the short throw shifter from What path are you on... - Racingline Performance decreases the throws by about 30%, it's a great sporty feel and i wouldn't give it up for anything.

Are there leather automatics shift knobs for the CVT that look at least a little decent?
I hate that we have the safety button

Iam not sure what year Alti you have so iam not sure if this will help. My shift knob for my 08 started to get lose. I wanted to get a new shift knob but all the aftermarket ones are ugly in my eyes. So i decided to just buy a new OEM one. I ordered one from the dealer and it came in a couple of days later. The knob was much heavier and the reason was because it had metal threads instead of plastic. I love it, it complemets the STS very well and its a stock look. So my guess is the 07-08 Alti had the plastic threads and the 09 and up has the metal. Check it out
