Problems since iPod install

I installed the iSimple Gateway for my iPod/iPhone on my 2008 Altima Coupe 2.5. Everything in that regard is working perfectly. Since doing the install, however, I have seen a couple annoyances.

First, my auto up feature on my windows doesn't work at all anymore. They will roll down automatically, just not back up.

Secondly, whenever the driver's door is open, I get a constant audible tone (same as the 'you forgot your key' tone, but constant) until the door is closed. This happens regardless of what mode (Off, Acc, On) I am in. For instance, if I am driving around and stop and turn off my engine, as soon as I open the door, I get the constant tone.

It seems to me like these are just settings that I just somehow messed up. Any hints or ideas?

If you disconnected your battery it will cause the auto up window function to reset. To fix it. Roll both your windows all the way down. Then using the switches on the driver door, roll both windows up and keep holding them up for about 5 seconds after the windows are all the way up. It should work again after doing that.

Just to update everyone:

I did figure out the auto up. They had been reset and holding them for a few seconds solved the problem.

The constant tone was because I apparently accidentally hit my headlight switch from Auto to On. I didn't notice it until I pulled it into the garage. Once again, user error.

Thanks for the help. Great forum.
