Moonroof wind noise

Hello! I'm new to this forum. I have an 08 Altima Coupe. When I hit speeds of 80mph or higher I get a high pitched squeal from wind noise. I took it to the dealer and they said it was "normal turbulence". It is quite annoying and I haven't found anyone else that has the same problem. Is there a solution to this problem?

Its not supposed to whistle or squeal... at least mine doesn't.

Steveo94, welcome to the forums!

That is definitely not normal turbulence, you could have a leak in your moonroof somewhere. Take it back to them and keep pestering them about it. Don't be afraid to ask to speak with a manager. Cars should not squeal at highway speeds like that. If you just got the car it should be covered under your bumper to bumper warranty unless you have over 36,000 miles.

Agreed, keep bugging them. A buddy of mine had a speedo issue on his '02 Maxima and he had to bug the crap out of them to get it resolved correctly.

I'm curious - do you get this noise when the moonroof is fully open, tilted open, closed -- or all three?
