Is there any all inclusive documenation of the BEEPS

My 2009 altima coupe has all kinds of beeps. I can figure out most of them (door locked, trunk open...) but sometimes I might get like 4 real quick beeps when turning the car off. It would be nice to have a beep dictionary for all the cars beeps. On a side note it seems to make a little electric motor noise sometimes when I turn it off too. just a quick little motor kind of noise. What is that?

Yes, there is a document that explains the various BEEPS of your Altima. It is called the Nissan Altima Owner’s Manual.

The Owner’s Manual contains a wealth of useful information, but you have to read the manual to extract the information. Unread, the manual has no value.

Owner’s Manual pages 2-12 and 2-15, and pages 3-9 thru 3-16 specifically mention ‘beeps’.

The electrical motor noise you hear when turning off your car is more than likely the electric fuel pump.

I think the motor noise hes talking about might be the steering wheel lock. It makes that noise when you shut the car off and open the door.
