Nothing as of yet man, i have been looking as well. i don't think a cold air intake ill be available for the Max though, if you look at how the intake is set up, the CVT tranny takes up a lot of space and the fuse box/ battery area is all clustered up so no chance to go down the front fender. I would say we could get a warm air intake in there, as for your tail lights, go to summitraceing.com, look for VHT nightshades paint, it will give you a tinted look (we have the same color Max), or you can take it to a tint shop, most places can do it for about $80. i am also looking for the 3M headlight protection film in blue. i would bet to say stillen ,jim wolf, and Nismo should all be comeing out with cat back exhaust systems by christmas. the grounding kit from Active tuning is pretty universal if you wanted that.

id rather have the over lays just because if i ever want to take them off i can...

I noticed the whole engine compartment the other day to, its pretty tight over there... If i did get an intake though id only get nismo that way it still keep it under warranty.

that 3m headlight protection film sounds pretty hot... id like to see how it would look in blue one the max.

cant wait for the stuff to come out finally though...

how are you liking your max?

I'm loving it, have you looked at the cat back exhaust on the car yet? im sure we would pick up a reasonable amount of HP with a cat back system. it looks like they put a muffler midway down the back, and then 2 more after the y connection, im half way tempted to have a muffler shop make me a straight pipe to bolt to the cat and the last Y connection for the aft mufflers. I removed the first stage of the intake ( the part bolted to the top of the radiator), when i had the SE-R, if you did the same thing it woke the engine up a little and felt like acceleration was better, im gonna try it out today and let you know how it goes. looks like we are going to be the test mules on the forum since we are the first to own the new max. P.S. i already put in the K&N air filter (part # 33-2031-2) and i did one of those "turbonators" ( part # K-85 ) ill take pics of how i had to set it up, you need a extra hose clamp after the MAS. my starting fuel econ at 65mph was 24.6 MPG, after the k&n filter it was 26.2 MPG and after the turbonator i got 28.1 mpg at 65 mph i did the testing at 6 p.m. but it was very hot out still about 89deg. so i sure ill se better numbers now that the temps are going down.

I haven't really looked at the exhaust yet.

The turbonator thing; is that the thing that spins the air in a circular motion kinda like the tornado?

ya id do the K&N but I'm not going to do anything that could possibly void the warranty on the car. So i'll be waiting for the Nismo intake which hopefully they'll come out with since they had ones for the other maximas.

Ya i'd like to see some pix of what you've done so far. It would give me a couple ideas of what i could "possibly" do...

The K&N filter wont void our warranty it just replaces the stock air filter, and yes that is what the turbonator does. Here are the pics of what im talking about with the intake, first one is with her bone stock from the factory:,
this is without the first stage, so you can see how much more space you get to suck on vice a 6" by 1" intake:
and finally, here is where i placed the extra hose clamp for the turbonator:
the engine felt more alive without the first stage of the intake in there, plus a little louder at 4,000 RPM. i took a full look at the exhaust, after the main Cat we have a huge muffler, 2 resonators @ the Y connection, then the last 2 mufflers before the exhaust tips, saw no extra O2 sensors, so a cat back system should give us at least 15-20 HP.

And the brand new Maxima is the perfect car to do that with.
