3.5 CVT was okay, 2.5 CVT struggles a bit. Living and working in what is essentially mountainous regions is rather painful in the one I bought. But as with others, I could not justify the $10k premium for the Maxima, even though I loved its interior more than the Altima. What I might do is when I get ready to trade the Altima in I'll consider the Max again. Maybe by then its price will have dropped to something more reasonable - at nearly $40k I might as well buy an Infiniti.

its mad smooth and pulls hard!!!

not all of us can or want to afford $40+g cars
