I'm interested in installing the "2013 Nissan Altima 4PC Front and Rear Illuminated Kick Plates 999G6-UZ000" in our new Altima....to replace the black plastic kick plates.
Assuming it's plug-n-play and a couple of screws.
List price is kinda expensive but of course you can pick them up cheaper at other places.
Did anyone get these installed OEM and have opinions?
thanks.

I am also interested in getting them in the future. It would be a GREAT help if they were able to be plug and play per say. That would influence by deciding factor on buying them for sure.
Not to threadjack, but if anyone does install these, please post install pics, maybe the length and holes in door sill. They almost look like they might fit in 2007's and up maybe, hopefully, lol

How much are these running? Are they Oem? Ad you prob. Won't find any cheaper unless you make them... The 4th gen's never got a aftermarket maker for the kick plates besides the guy on nico... I doubt the 5th gen will get one either....

Nxt time i go to the stealership , if they have them in stock ill do a test fit on my car, maybe ill get lucky. They are OEM a new available option for 2013
looking at this ebay listing, look at the pics, it seems similar to what we have now, I know there might be differences that wont be known till the physical fitment attempt, but it does look hopeful http://www.ebay.com/itm/999G6-UZ000-...162#vi-content

I have been looking at them on Amazon as well. I've tried to google installation instructions with no luck. If anyone does install them please share your experience.
I didn't install these myself since I was having a couple other things installed at the same time. With that said they seemed really easy to do. Literally just two wires for each kick plate that you tap into an accessory connector. Could be done in 30-60 minutes.
I really like the look of them.

them they run around 180.00 or so, and you have to buy the connectors to. One for each side 10.00 a piece. The plug in's are under the dash one on each side. One is right beside where the tecks plug in to your comp. and the other is right beside your glove box next to the kick panal. The have plugs you have to remove to plug up after you install them.Real easy to take every thing off just take your time so you won;t brake your clips. The hardest thing is getting the the plugs out of the assy. plugs that are under your dash. And they are awsome looking, makes a big change when you open that door and look in.If anyone has any problems wireing the up give send me a e-mail dlcleve@cox.net
Just an update. I went to the dealership today and after everything was done I asked if they know if the 2013 side sills fit my car 2008. After a test fitting I found they fit perfectly on the front. I must say I did not test fit the rear though, and it seems the rear kick plate is shorted thant the ones we use now . That being said I can say it fits the front and as far as wiring it up ,I'm not sure what problems one might run into hooking it up. I will attempt it later this month as the dealer stated the MSRP is 400 dollars, I know I can get this cheaper so Ill peek around. Just a heads up if anyone with a 2007-2011 Altima would like to try something new. Also it look like from a quick comparison with the coupe side sill it might fit (just the front0 on the coupe.

Darth...You can tap them into your footwell kit. Send me a PM and I can build some Y adapters to make it simple.
I'm going to buy the kick plates with the $250 GC Nissans giving me for the inconvienience of my heated seats not working right. I have the under carriage "saftey lighting", does this mean i don't need those $10 connectors?
