I submitted the form 2 days after my purchase. Didn't think it would hurt to try - even though I didn't meet the requirement.

Got the gift card a couple of days ago! It took about 8 weeks.

Bought my 2.5 SL in farmington Detroit, mid July and sent the form online very next week. Got it back in 5 weeks.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping mine is approved! It will prob go toward the car anyway.

Is the visa card through Nissan directly or edmunds?

I called my dealer and they didn't know anything about it + failed to mention it to me at time of purchase.

I filled the form online via edmunds initially. I got mailed by Nissan to fill in car details inc dealers address. Nissan replied back that they are checking purchase details.

What if you were financing the car? Since its just a visa card shouldn't we be able to make a couple payments with it?

doubtful, since payments for financed cars are made by check or e-check. Never was able to pay my mortgage, car loan, or student loan by credit card.

When I filled out the form it asked what was the vin number of the car, purchase date, and the dealership info.

Were we supposed to fill this out before we bought the car or after?

You were supposed to submit online before you purchase the car. You have 30 days from that date to buy the car. Not sure how long they give you to submit the paperwork/verification after you purchase the car (it doesn't state in the small print).

It's worth a shot but don't get your hopes up unless you signed up before you bought the car.
