Just to be clear, not all of these things change when you step up to an S model, many of those items are the same up through the SV trim level , not just the base model (the ones I kept in this post.) I think you have to get the convenience and/or Tech package, the SL trim level or add other options before these things change.

No USB plug for devices in center console (I'm not sure if there is on any of the trim levels)

Switch bank

No light on visor vanity mirrors.

Not that you asked, but I believe this is a proximity sensor for the key fob

Auto roll down on driver's window only (I think this changes with the convenience package)

Could you help me with the approach to get one?

How long after u got the car did you complain?

Did you act like it was omitted? ( Oh thats right, you did think it was).
Did you complain to service writer, or to your salesman?

I took out the driver's visor last night, and there are no wires nearby for me to switch to a different visor.

There are TWO pairs of spearkers missing.
The rear doors have speaker grilles, but just a sheet of plastic covering the hole.
The rear deck has some metal things in the speaker holes

So the 2.5 Sv does not have visor lights?

The SV does not have visor lights, and the windows don't roll down with the key fob unless you get the convenience package.

There are no speakers in the rear door on the SV either. As far as I know, there are no speakers in the rear doors, or the center position in the dash unless you option up to the Bose audio option.

I'm not complaining about my SV, I love it. I just wanted to be clear that many of the items being pointed out are not unique to the base model.

The nasty nasally horn on the base model

Nissan takes the time and expense to wire a nasty one note horn on the base model. This is the most senseless item since its probably a break even at best to have another type of horn if you select the base model.
At highway speeds its too weak.....almost a joke.
The dealership did not know this occurred.....so they say.
I got them to add the engine cover on I my first week of ownership...same reason...they did not know at the time...neither did I ....they ate that one!

Seems to me that Nissan went out of their way to take features out of this model. Looks like it could have been easier and more efficient to just leave those small features in.
