Great news! Apparently we've gotten their attention. Im going to recall my CA Specialist tomorrow - just a couple of days ago I was given a different story. They were saying that it wasn't a widespread problem. Maybe the volume of complaints reached the "critical mass" to force some action.
just got my papers in the mail. they were ordered by my states lemon law to repurchase my car. they can't fix it so now the can have it back. this whole thing with nissan and the way i personally have been treated was total BS . what goes around comes around. i hope anyone else that is dissatisfied with there new car as i was to take the proper avenues and do the same as i did. the dealership my car came from was no better , nissan has seen the last dime from me.
Yea I haven't heard or read anything about Nissan actually rolling out any recall/fix for the 2.5.
Like I've stated before, the rumble doesn't bother me all that much but I would like them to roll out a fix.
I'm not bothered by the rumble either, but since folks are going to complain and swear that something is wrong (although Nissan knows nothing is not), then they are going to do something about it just to shut those people up.

The CA specialist called today in reference to my open case on the 3.5 shudder. Her suggestion, since my dealer "cannot duplicate" the shudder was to take it to another dealer. This makes no sense to me. I'm reluctant to have the car trashed out again and another 80 miles put on it - only to get another "cannot duplicate" response.
The other lame answer I'm getting is that it's "characteristic" of the car. Nonsense, it didn't do it when new. It developed the problem. That's not "characteristic".
Has anyone actually gotten a dealer service person to experience the 3.5 shudder?
