Will letters be mailed out about which fixes that your car fall under like with the TCM reprogram? It's easier to say what needs to be fixed instead of check everything.

Met with regional tech this week. He indicated that the permanent fix is coming and they are waiting for the new parts to be manufactured. As for the exact issue, he refereed to the tensioner bouncing up and down causing the vibration. I was going to wait for permanent fix, but in diagnosing they went ahead and replaced the belt and tensioner. It is like a different car, still very very slight vibration which I hope goes away in final fix. I also had oil change to edge 0 20w and the brake light program and fix for heated seats. Took them about half a day. Gas mileage is also much improved but will wait a little longer to know for sure. Mileage should not be related, but between the heated seat fix, belt and tensioner change, and brake light fix who knows.
Thought about the vibration/slippage of drive belt Master Tech referred to, really hard. I really don't understand why and how the belt could be slipping at a particular RPM and when, in my particular case, If I slowly accelerate past 1600 rpm and slowly decelerate back through, the noise and vibration are still the same. I cannot understand how the belt could be slipping on deceleration. It seems to me there is another underlying issue there that Nissan is trying to be mask over by installing a
new and improved belt tensioner.
I had a belt and tensioner swap done on my car and immediately after, I had some reduction in noise/vibration but I could still hear it... the root problem was still there. The noise/vibration has gotten so bad again after just 1300 mi, my dealer had to order me another one. Perhaps I'm a doubting Thomas but until the noise/vibration in my car is completely gone, and not just a little gone, I will continue to have doubts.
I'm with you on having serious doubts that the belt/ tensioner is going to solve the problem. Maybe some cars exhibit more noise and vibration than others - that could be caused by the belt/tensioner. But the underlying issue of torsional NVH in a large 4cyl engine operating under load at extremely low rpm is not being addressed by changing the accessory drive belt assembly.
My 2.5, which I owned for 5 months and 5200 miles, always exhibited this rumble under load up to about 1700 rpm. It wasn't what I'd call severe but could always be detected and gave the car a signature sound and feel. A couple of others I drove were exactly the same.

but I think the big problem the torque converter is locking up to soon and causing to viberate like the belt/tensioner please look into the what the problem is,The torque convertor is locking up to soon.
I agree with dcleve: raising the converter lock speed to somewhere near where it was in the previous cvt would probably alleviate the problem. The unlocked fluid coupling acts as a damper between the engine and drivetrain reducing the transmission of NVH. A higher lock speed would probably also correct the 3.5 shudder issue
However, it's going to cost some mpg and Nissan is loath to give up that 27/38 rating. Nissan engineers made compromises to achieve these mpg numbers. But it's now evident that the compromises chosen were too great and a sizeable number of owners will not accept them.

Yeah I hate these MPG wars.. that 27 city mpg is really high for a car like this and that's from ramming down the RPMs to such a low level that it's causing lugging and vibration. There's no free lunch. Also, the car is so light because Nissan never puts in much sound deadening but that results in more engine noise. Nissan builds peppy, stylish cars, but refinement is usually not a major priority in terms of engine or suspension.

I push the car moderately and certainly don't get 27 MPG, more like 22. The upside is that I punch through the rumble zone and don't get the vibration very often, but I do know it's there.

It's sad that Nissan spent so much time and energy to get the high MPG's only to introduce an unwanted side effect that we get around by using more throttle which negates the high MPG's...
Would this be one of those "circle of life" things?
I bought my car during mid August, and my car has had a brake squeaking problem since like october. It squeaks for the first 3 times I brake, if the car is cold. I brought it in to my dealership and they changed my brakes out. But in December it came back again, but this it was worse. The squeaking would happen even when the car was warm. So I got it changed in early January. A couple days ago I noticed a squeak in the morning when I braked. It was minor but I'm worried its coming back. Do you know any causes for this?
Also whenever someone sits in my passenger seat the Airbag off light in the center console comes on (people 100 lbs. and people 170 lbs.) However if there is no one in my passenger seat the Airbag light is not illuminated. I forgot to mention it to my dealer the last time I brought it in.
Another problem I forgot to tell my dealer is that whenever I fill up my gas the pump will stop filling it up at around 13-14 gallons and again at 15-16 gallons. I know I need to fill up a lot more than that because the car is almost empty. This has happened in multiple different gas stations.
