Exclamation Backup Camera Screen Operation

I have a 2013 Altima 3.5 SL with Navigation. The Navigation screen got to where after about 10 minutes of operation it would start blinking off. I took it to Jim Mills Nissan and they installed a new Navigation and radio in it. I have a question about the backup camera now ? When you put the car in reverse the backup camera displays with the red, yellow and green lines. If you push the camera button then it displays two sets of the lines but the camera angle stays the same. The original unit actually changed the camera angle from a wide view to a narrow view. Jim Mills Nissan tells me I'm wrong the original wasn't like that. They stated that they checked all out on their lot and none changes angles. So now when I push camera button I have two sets of lines on scrren, and you better stop when backing up and furtherest coler is at other vehicle bacause you're within a foot. If you backed up until you get to red line you'd be on the hood of the car. Let me know how others work? Am I just wrong ?

UPDATE FROM NISSAN:
THE BACKUP CAMERA I HAVE IS THE NEWEST THING FOR 2013 ALTIMA 3.5 SL WITH NAV. ONLY FUNCTION THE CAMERA BUTTON DOES NOW IS ADD A SECOND ROW OF COLORFUL LINES IN THE AIR. REMINDS ME OF A YUGO BACKUP SYSTEM !!!

Pictures of Navigation Screen : Which set of lines do you backup by ?

Mine changes from narrow view in with normal lines and then pressing the camera button switches to a wide view and has the predictive moving lines when steering wheel moves

On my 2.5SL with Tech, pressing the CAMERA button does change camera angles. When first shifting to R, I get the wide angle display with a pair red/yellow/green lines. When I press the button, it zooms in a little bit and I get the display with the red/yellow/green, plus the lines that curve as I turn the steering wheel.

The manual doesn't say too much about the CAMERA button, but page 3 of the Quick Reference Guide does say "With the shift lever in the R (REVERSE) position, press the CAMERA button 02 to change the camera to rear wide view 03." It also has pictures of the two views. The Quick Reference Guide does seem to be backwards from what my car does though--the guide says that it starts out in the close up view, and the button changes it to the wide view, but mine starts in the wide view, and the button changes it to close up.

In any case, you can show your dealer the pictures in the Quick Reference Guide.

Is there anyway to set the default to the less wide screen? Ours defaults to the 180 degree view when engaging reverse. We prefer the other view.

When I put mine in reverse, I get the red, yellow and green lines, when I push the camera button, I get no angle change but I lose the lines altogether. Makes no sense to me.

Should zoom in when you hit the camera button. Mine does.

I think "Field of View" might be a better term than "camera angles".
