I'm stuck on step 4 which is the part when the fog light bezel has been removed revealing the 10mm bolt holding the turn signal in place...

Then grab the assembly closest to the grille and give it a tug. It's being held in by one of those little clips like the trim. Once you get that to release just pull the assembly out.
Not sure if kemer1 or anyone else can shed some details on how to pull the turn signal out after removing the 10mm bolt. It doesn't seem to budge. I tried pushing it out from going underneath the splash shield and pulling up and down from the side closest to the grille.
Really appreciate any help. I made the video on removing the Altima tail lights and am in the process of doing a video on installing fog lights, LED turn signals, and LED headlight bulbs.
If your just replacing the bulbs you can get the off from under the car take the plastic skid plate cover off from under the bumper and you can see the bulbs just turn and remove. If you want to remove the whole thing just give it a tug there's like a tab that holds it in of the side closer to the outside you can kinda see it on the link your post had. There might be one more bolt that holds it but it's been such a long time since I pulled those off. If your doing led your going to need resistors or you will get hyper flash with the LEDs...

I'm replacing the entire turn signal unit with these:
yea there is a 10mm bolt and a tab. That tab is holding it in quite tight. So give it a tug, do you mean use as much force as possible? Not sure if you remember but do I pull straight towards me or do I need to angle it then pull? Thanks!!
I had a 2007 Sentra SL as my first car & daily driver before getting the GTR. Almost reached the 9 year mark but hit a bad pot hole and messed up the suspension and cracked a rim. Ended up trading in for a 2015 Altima S Special Edition to be my daily driver and winter warrior. Although the GTR is quite good in the snow with winter tires, I don't want expose it to salt or the elements. I even keep it out of the rain when I can.
The Altima is about 2 months old, got Lumar 35% tints on, Katskin Leather with red accents, plastidipped lower bumper and lower grille black with red accent, LED reverse lights, LED license lights, Nissan Stainless Steel license plate frame, and just installed Opt7 LED headlight bulbs. Doing the fog light kit and LED turnsignals now, then swapping out the steering wheel with an OEM leather wheel. I'll start a new thread & post pix later once I get the turn signal project done. :grin
No I damaged one when I took mine off. I had this blue hot glue that's for car audio that's really strong I used to glue the tab back together. Mine just broke on one end not completely off. That's why I would suggest not removing them unless you have too. Or push the clips free from the inside of the bumper which isn't easy either.
Haha, I agree.. Shoot, I'd rather go through the wheel well then trying to pull the bezels out again! Now to watch ebay for a decent priced replacement.
Passenger side won't budge so I went to the driver side. It pulled right off after removing the bolt. What the heck...
Looking good so far, there's a minor gap between the bezel & the OEM fog light. Since I added the fog lights too, is it normally like this on a SV or SL?
Still looking for a trick to get the turn signal assembly off the passenger side....
Oh and for those interested, I added LED bulbs to the headlights. Looks so much nicer now.
One problem I am experiencing with the DRL is that the passenger DRL would turn off briefly when I brake. Has anyone with these experienced that and any luck fixing it? I thought it was a loose connection but all connections look fine.
