Problems with 2001 Pathfinder in Detroit, MI
It started 4 months ago. When I started the vehicle in the morning, it started ok. as soon as I got out the parking garage, it missed for few seconds. it worked ok for rest of the day. it soon started missing right after I started it in the morning. rpm used to drop and engine stopped occasionally. for past few weeks it started missing while on the road and last week on my way to airport, it missed so much that speed did not go above 35.
My local nissan dealer says that timing sensor is bad and needs replacement. This is the same guy who 4 months ago said mass air flow sensor is bad. I didn't get it changed. Can I believe him?
