Aren't those chemicals damaging to paint? I'd be pissed if I were there at the time.
On a similar note. In our server room at work, we have, on the left hand side of the door, a big red button that is an emergency power off button (unlike one place where I used to work where it was the halon release), on the right side of the door are the light switches along with a bight yellow switch that turns on a flashing red light when to warn us when there is someone in the area that doesn't have the proper security clearance. Last week, our security guy, of all people, was escorting some maintenance guys through to do some work on our security alarms. Instead of flipping the yellow switch to turn on the light, he pushed the red button cutting off power to the entire server room. We have over 100 servers for seven domains in there and it took us almost an hour to get them all powered back up and running again.
