Newbie First Post with dash/parking light problem
First, hello to all in the forum. I'm glad I found this site. I think I'll get a lot out of it. I've got a problem with my 1994 Nissan King V6-SE. I just bought it "AS IS" the day before yesterday and now find that the parking lights and dash lights don't work. The headlights and brake lights work fine. The horn, wipers and turn signals all work too. I checked the interior fuse box and underhood relay box and can't find anything blown. After looking around on the web, I found some information that makes it sound like this is a common problem to these trucks and that I should replace the turn signal switch/arm. I did get track down and get ahold of the old owner, (I bought this from a car lot)who says that he remembers having to "jiggle" the turn signal for the lights to work but that was a long time ago. What do you guys think? If that's what you recommend, where can I find instructions on how to take out the old one and install the new one? Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions you have.
