You could invest in a larger resonator (the Nismo one is a tad small, I suppose) and remove that mid piece (measure the length of it first, it may require you to cut onto that long Y pipe that extends to the mufflers if the resonator you buy is longer than this piece) and weld a larger one onto the flanges and bolt it back up.
About how to low the noise of exhaust. I still don't understand your explanation. Can a muffler shop low the noise for me ?
