Add a wife, 2 kids and some groceries and the 2.5 is contantly under load and the exhaust is really loud most all the time even when giving only a slight amount of pedal. This is in part due to the engine size so I would be curious if the 3.5 is as loud.

I'm with you. It is ok to have 2 people in the car tho. The back of the car keeps shaking, everytime i accelerate with more people on the back. This is why my mom feels uncomfortable. Next time. i go for the Z instead. ---> no more complaint from parents.
