Yah. There are people who beat the crap out of rentals and then there's the rest of us. What does this really mean? Stepping on the gas pedal every time? Big deal. Slamming on the brakes? Big Deal. Doing donuts? Big deal. Not going to doom the car and does not add that much wear onto the vehicle, with my expert opinion. If the car is under warranty, go for it. If you can, try to purchase an extended warranty through enterprise, IF possible. I know some people that bought rentals and no problems. Just make sure the rotors aren't warped, all buttons inside the car do work, check the oil, kick the tires, make sure the AC is cold, heater works, all windows go up and down easily, and ask for a tank of gas. I would say not a bad deal. TL's are nice though. I've been in a 2001 TL recently and the Altima's ride was a little smoother and power was compariable with the 2.5
