Yah, i was contimplating the 40's too. I wanted a quieter/ better ride so I got the 45's. They will fill up the wheel wells nicely I think. Tirerack gave me all the pros/cons of the tires. I still went with the 45's. I'm sure they will ride fine. Like I said, the days of me rock crawling with my altima are gone with the stock rims. These will ride just fine
