What's so bad about the ContiProContact tires?
So I'm curious, what's so bad about the ContiProContact tires that came on my 2.5 S coupe? I've driven on a lot of different tires, and after 6,000 miles they seems pretty good. The ride isn't too hard, the noise isn't too bad, no complaints in the rain, and they seem to have pretty good grip. I haven't had them in the snow yet but don't have any concerns about it.
Yet most of the reviews I've read (such as those on TireRack.com) are pretty negative. Am I just not seeing it yet because I only have 6,000 miles on the set? Do they degrade and get pretty bad as they wear down a bit?
