I think that most people who have the most complaints about the tires are people who test the tire performance under high stress conditions, like swerving, quick stopping and starting, essentially pushing the tires to the limit and have found that they've got a pretty low limit.
I also think the tires are fine, but that's just for everyday commuting to and from work.
