That's what I was wondering. I don't submit the tires to high-stress / performance conditions. I don't drive like a cotton-top or anything, but I'm mostly on the highway for my 70 mile round-trip daily commute.
I find the tires to produce a normal amount of road noise, they seem to be pretty stable when cruising along at 80 mph, and in the few instances when I've had to brake hard and swerve (once when a truck blew a retread, another when a deer crossed in front of me, and one time when an accident occurred about 50 - 75 yards ahead), I thought the response, control, and braking were pretty damned good.
Granted, I've only got 6,000 miles on them. So maybe it'll all go in the crapper when they really start to wear?
