Hey, this is a question not regarding this situation, but still related to fog lights. (i didn't want to start another thread, and never really had my question answered). I had my fog lights installed by a aftermarket place about a year ago. He made it so I had a switch to turn the fog lights on and off, but they could be used even when the vehicle was not on. I didn't like this, because if I forgot to turn off the switch, it would drain my battery. Also, he made it so that my fogs would turn off when I high-beamed. I want it so that the fogs can only be used when the car is on, but can also be toggled on and off with the switch. I just moved the power wire from the battery and spliced it in with the parking lights, but am afraid this is putting too much of a load on the parking lights. Is there anyway to connect the power back to the battery, but still have the fogs work only when the car is on, or parking lights/lowbeams are on. Thankss
