I didn't like this, because if I forgot to turn off the switch, it would drain my battery. Also, he made it so that my fogs would turn off when I high-beamed. I want it so that the fogs can only be used when the car is on, but can also be toggled on and off with the switch. I just moved the power wire from the battery and spliced it in with the parking lights, but am afraid this is putting too much of a load on the parking lights. Is there anyway to connect the power back to the battery, but still have the fogs work only when the car is on, or parking lights/lowbeams are on. Thankss

if youre running the power straight off the battery they will always be able to work with the car off. I would re-wire everything the right way. Im sure there is a write up on here for installing fog lights on a car that is not pre-wired maybe that will give you the answer you are looking for.
