APR Strut Bar question!

I just ordered a APR Strut Tower brace bar and i was wondering if it will fit on my 05 cause i heard that it wont clear the hood and might actually damage it. Can anyone help me out with this.

I don't know about 05, but I had one on my 04 and I ended up taking the damn thing off cuz it was hitting my hood.

you only have to cut a small part of the engine cover? is it a 2.5 or 3.5..
