squeaking/creaking sound over bumps?

i got a 94 altima gle a few months back, and i noticed that the rear of the car makes a kind of squeak or creak noise when i go over larger bumps (like the curb on my driveway). any idea what could cause that?

You need to grease the rear sway bar bushings.

well, i'm new to all the car stuff, anywhere to find some good reads on maintenance like that?

do you also feel and hear a thump when going over bumps besides the creaking noise? if so you need new struts, i know i need new ones.

My alty does that when its cold also. You just need to lube the rear bsuings, It is not hard at all!
