Slight Burning Smell When Driving

Hello,

I have a 1.8L 94 Nissan Sentra and of recent I can smell the slightest burning smell coming out of the cabin vents while driving. I am pretty sure it is not electrical or antifreeze based in nature, more like an oil smell.

I have yet to even lift the hood but have taken the car out of commision until this weekend when I will be looking into the problem furthur

Any thoughts on the subject would be welcome. Thank you in advance

Sorry for that you caught me it is a 1.6 Liter! my fault. must have hit the wrong key!

its ok well take a look under the hood. your problem might be obvious then

Thanks for the reply. Car is well maintained, small valve cover leak, no obvious exhaust leaks. Just a slight oil burning smell coming from the air vents when the car warms up.

Very much under the hood of the car on a regular basis!

well if it was me i guess i would just fix the valve cover and go from there. never really heard of a burning oil smell coming out of air vents so im interested to figure it out.... ....still thinking..
