EBC GreenStuff Brake Pads

EBC GreenStuff Brake Pads for 2000 Infiniti G20(available for sentras)
$57 shipped from Summit Racing
22 minute install

I have actually had incidents where ABS would kick in with only minimal extra braking force applied by me, so they are grabby.

They are much better than oem when coming to a quick stop from high speed. Slam the brakes at over 50mph and ABS will have a very hard time from keeping the wheels from locking up.

Also, i highly suggest a better brake fluid with this setup. Oem quality brake fluid quickly becomes the weak point of this setup when given anything over granny style driving.

Overall inpressions:
9/10
I'm very satisfied. The girlfriend also noticed the difference after driving the car so there really must be a difference.

Dark Force Technology Cold Air Intake

Dark Force Technology for the 2000-2003 Sentra Se & Se-r 2.0L(installed on 2000 Infiniti G20)
sold on Ebay for $26 + $25 shipping by rush2228 aka Rush Racing
1 hour install

Its all there. All you will need to install this will be a 2.5" circular saw that mounts onto a drill in order to get into the fender. The intake even has a spot for the sensor located at the very end of the stock intake system near the headlight.

Its actually better than the Hotshot intake available for the G20. There are no issues such as needing to drill an extra sensor hole. You even get to reuse most of the stock hardware like screws because the holes are perfectly lined up and tapped.

Sounds badass with my 2.5" Remus Ti catback. There is some low end lag but mid range is much improved.

Now i know some people will frown at the price, because for some odd reason maybe intakes should cost $250, but this one looks and feels exactly like any Hotshot i've ever seen.

NOTE: The provided filter is total CRAP. Thats the only bad note on this CAI setup.

Good thread...

Nissan 95-96 200SX SE-R SR20DE ECU w/ JWT P.O.P. ECU Upgrade.
(Used in 99 Sentra SE-L)
Cost:$595 from Jim Wolf Technologies
http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/

The 96 ECU has to be used as JWT cannot program the newer 97+ ECU.Installation and use consist of:

A)Changing the rear 02 sensor from 4 wire to 3 wire rear 02 sensor.

B)Swapping hoses on EGR system.

C)Disconnecting absolute pressure sensor.

D)Changing pinouts on the ECU.

All three install point above are shown on the JWT website with accurate instructions,I felt better to have my shop do the install.

Pros:
Overall performance has been increased greatly, redline moved to 7800rpms,and speed limiter removed.Power band a lot broader in the mid range and upper rpms, due to the JWT adjustment of the A/F ratios on the ECU.

Being able to shift at 7500 rpms is much better than stock since high shifts drop you directly back into the SR20DE's power peak.

Idle improved, gas mileage has not decreased, cannot say for sure if it increased.Works beautifully with the JWT Popcharger.

Cons:
Check engine light I get every few months for the EGR code. The SR20 emmisions on newer models wreaks havoc with the upgraded ECU causing an EGR code to pop up every few months, clears after a couple of weeks.

It does not hinder performance,or gas mileage. After searching through numerous threads on sr20 forums,it is clear that it is part of using the older ECU with my 98.Doesnt bother me in the least due to the overall performance of the upgrade.

You have to use 91+ octane all the time. The ECU is not made to use anything but premium fuel.10 cents isnt much, especially on the performance you get from the upgrade.

9/10

JWT Popcharger (WAI) for 98-99 SR20DE:
Cost:$130 shipped from Courtesy Nissan
http://www.courtesyparts.com/

Easy 10 minute install, basic hand tools.

Pros:
Ease of install, great growl above 4000 rpms, otherwise pretty tame in sound.
Good increase in the upper rpms, cleans with the K&N Filter Cleaner kit. Also
comes with approved CARB number sticker for inspection time.

Cons:
Really none besides the high-price for a basic WAI set-up.

SS Autochrome SR20DE 4-2-1 Header and DownPipe
Cost::$130 shipped to your door.
Group buy on www.sr20forum.com

Updated:
Pros:

Large primaries.Bigger than HS made header.Comes with all needed gaskets and hardware.

Performance.Gained across the powerband,no loss of power on the low end.
Up top the motor screams to +7000 rpm very easily, moreso than with the stock
manifold.

Power gains feel about the same as the JWT ECU which is known to give 8-10whp.

Price is extremely cheap at $150 or so shipped on EBAY.

Cons:

Untreated SS finish. Will turn colors after use.

Downpipe size. The downpipe is only 2",SSAC fixed this on later models that have
2.5" downpipes now.

They can program the ECU's from the 95-97 cars.
It's the 98 and 99 ECU's that they cannot program.
My 97 ECU now has my GtiR turbo program in it.

This is a good thread. I'll post back a few when I have some good pics.

K-Sports Coilover and Dampening Kit for 1995-1999 Sentra:
Cost:$725 Shipped ( sr20forums GroupBuy) Reg:$1200

Pros:

Price.Cheapest full coilover/dampening system you can get on the market.
Very easy to install since they come assembled already, swap in,swap out.
Easy to adjust dampening, one year warranty from purchase date.

Performance.Eliminates body roll in corners, handles well on smooth roads, barely
can tell the car has an aftermarket suspension.Car goes exactly where you point
it.

Appearance.Fully height adjustable.(0-3")Dampening adjustment for hard or soft
feel to suspension.Great stance without having to slam the car on the lowest setting.

Cons:

Bounce. The coilovers do get some bounce to them on unsmooth roads. You have
to set the dampers to your liking. These are track coilovers,so be ready for a
firm sporty suspension,if you want a luxury/stock feel, then move on.

Maintenance. You will have to keep them clean with a wash every now
and then.Re-valving after some use is expected as well.

Longevity. No real reports of long term use,no lifetime warranty.Blown struts
will have to be repaired by Ksport at aprox $125 a peice.

((FYI-My sig shows them at installed hieght,1.5-1.8" drop))
