95 200sx cranks but doesnt start

i am working on my sisters 95 200sx it cranks but does not start. i have injector pulse on all cylinders with noid lights they are good. i have spark but in my opinion weak and not consistent. i have checked for jumped timing chain all appears to be ok. i have a code p1320 for primary ignition. on alldata it says to test power transistor to measure resistance between two pins. it tested bad. it had no continuity. so i got a used distributor and it also had no continuity. is there another way to test this or id i just get a bad one?
if anyone has any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Can you show me a pic of where you tested? I can check my known good one and verify this is correct.

Was it an OEM dist?

Why buy a used one,IIRC a new cap and rotor were only like $30 bucks from the dealer.

Nissans are kinda finicky when it comes to OEM electrical parts,alts,dist,wires,plugs,etc...

I went out tonight and checked the wiring on the connectors. I also had no continuity. i made sure to check the index marks on the connectors and I am VERY competent with a DVM. I then plugged the connectors back in and fired up the engine just as a sanity check that it will be ready to go in the morning. I don't know what to tell ya!
