So I have a 2000 nissan sentra GXE and I have been dying to make it a sweet car. I have 4 xplod component speakers, as well as an xplod deck. That is with a 10" TIS audio sub and AMP. Some intererior lights lining where your feet go, with pulsing LED's with the music. I also recently installed blue neon's onto the car, a really nice effect.

but with my automatic car, its lucky to hit 0-60 in 12 second. Any way to upgrade the acceleration without breaking the bank?

'01 Sentra SE problem

Just installed an aftermarket headunit. everything on the unit works but now i got no cluster lights, no fan control and no rear license plate illumination lights. my tail lights DO work.
after messing with the new headunit I decided to put the stock one back on. still no lights?! I can't locate the dash fuse. Is there 1?
It's driving me crazy please help
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance!

It took me 2-3 days to get used to it, it sits a bit further forward, and I was so conscious of trying to make sure I was shifting it far enough, you feel like you haven't gotten it all the way in the forward gears (1st, 3rd, 5th) but now I'm used to it. Shortened the throw range 40-50% from what I can tell. For the price, a great mod. Not as sexy as a performance mod or a show mod, because you are the only one that knows for the most part, but still worth doing. Recommended.

Man, my battery top and filter are dirty.

How much shorter are the shift? Is it a significant shift? and Has anyone attempted to make their own?

I would say 40 percent, more or less. Noticeable for sure. With synthetic gear oil, you won't have any problems with the shorter throw, still smooth; better yet, use a weighted shift knob, that will help more than you think it will

A nice rounding out to my whole intake/exhaust system. Currently run as a WAI, from what I've read gains are minimal as a CAI and your filter gets dirtier faster. Smoother acceleration, probably no more than 2-3 hp on it's own.

I have a 2002 Sentra GXE and I'm having a hard time finding an intake. I come across a lot of SE-R intakes but I'm not sure if it'll fit in the GXE. Are the engines that similar?
