Replacing burned out tail light

Hi, I have a 2004 Sentra and I just noticed that the driver side tail light is out (turn signal works fine). Looking in the trunk, I noticed that the back of the light is covered with carpeting that doesn't seem easy to remove (some kind of weird clips holding it on). I read in another forum (regarding a different model Nissan) that one has to completely remove the entire tail light to replace the bulb. Is this true for the 2004 Sentra as well? If so, I guess I'm out of luck, as I am very non-mechanically inclined. Or is it so easy that anyone can do it? If anyone would be so kind as to give me some insight into how I would approach replacing the bulb, I would really appreciate it. Otherwise, a visit to the dealer is probably going to be a part of my pre-holiday plans. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer!

Clips are easy just get a small flat screwdriver and slip it into the notch on the clip. When the middle of the clips pops up then the clip will come off. Pull back the carpeting and you will see 3 brass bolts. Undo those and the tailight assembly will come off pull out the burned bulb and replace reverse the order and your done. Very Very easy.

Thanks!

Thanks very much for your reply. Since I didn't trust myself and my extremely limited mechanical skills to remove the taillight, I brought the car in to the dealer for an oil change and to replace the bulb. They actually replaced the bulb for me for free as part of the $32.95 oil change. I am still blown away by that, as I was willing to pay. Feels like I got an early holiday gift!
