Car sounds obnoxious need new muffler

So I need a new muffler or overall advice on where to go next with my car (06 nissan sentra 1.8s) I recently added a SS 4-2-1 Header and a SRI to try and maximize airflow through my engine. However right now my car sounds EXTREMELY obnoxious like bees in a can. I plan to have a catback exhaust fabricated for my car but i feel that will make it worse because thats only shortening the distance between the muffler and my headers and allows even more airflow. I dont want my car to sound like all those other rice burners on the road. I want something deep or at least not as whiny sounding... Any suggestions?

(thanks ahead of time)

The catback/aftermarket muffler will only help your sound, you should never add a header w/o aftermarket pieces at the end of the exhaust. Just a fact of life.

So your telling me not to add an aftermarket muffler to increase airflow, yet keep back pressure, and then you said I shouldn't ever put on a new header WITHOUT aftermarket parts at the end of my exhaust i.e. a muffler?

Hmm, maybe I confused it...

Essentially, with these engines you can add the header, but the stock muffler/catback system doesn't do a good job of controlling the tone. Either do both at the same time, or get the catback/muffler (I had great success with the Dynomax Super Turbo, not too loud but great control) first.
