My 1995 Dodge Neon blew a timing belt a few weeks ago and took the engine with it (interference engine ftw) and I picked up my 02 2.5L Spec and was told that it was non-interference, but I was just wondering if there was any validity to that or not? I've already lost one car to bent valves - I'd hate to lose this one for the same thing.. Any ideas?
pretty sure the QR25DE is not an interference engine. although, from what i've heard, alot of people have had engine problems, but i think most come from the butterfly screws and pre-cat issues.
