Sentra ABS light on

Sorry for being a noob if this has already been answered:

I replaced the front brake pads and rotors on my 2004 Sentra 2.5S and 2 days later the ABS light came on. I've checked everything I can think of (all fuses, visually inspected the ABS sensors, brake fluid level, and scanned for trouble codes) and I can't find any clues. The car brakes just fine. Ideas?

how did you depress the calipers? because if you didnt crack the bleeders you could have pushed dirt back up into the ABS unit and something could have gotten clogged, as for simpler fixes i would start by checking to make sure the wheel speed sensors and the exciter ring(notched ring on axle) are clean and dont have any grease or other debris, check the wires going to the wheel speed sensors. If none that works start to bleed your brakes and hopefully if you did clogged the ABS unit you can get it out by flushing it with fresh fluid

This turned out to be a rear ABS sensor that went bad just after I did the front brakes. It was just a matter of bad timing. I ordered a replacement part from courtesy parts.
