02 sentra multiple codes

Okay .. I've been here for a bit only on the altima ka24de side .. I build altimas and this is my first shot at my wifes 02 sentra.

2002 Sentra GXE. With 75,000 KM's on it. Never seen a mechanic besides the computer recall.. A little while back the SES light came on .. didn't have time to check it till now.. its throwing:

1. P0300 Random misfire
2. P0355 Cranks Position Sensor Circut A
3. p0455 Evaporative Emission System Leak

It starts fine, idles like shit, drives like shit, in all gears, all the time, no power.

@ idle it bounces as high as 2000 and bogs down to just above stall so like 500 .. its brutally bad.

I've changed the plugs and put new coil packs in ( didnt fix it so I returned them )

I have no idea anymore. . Do you guys think you can help me?

Check this tread

Check this thread for your 455 code. There are a couple of links in there that might help resolve that issue.

As for the 300 and 355 codes, I'm going to venture a guess and say your 300 is caused by the 355. If the computer has no idea where the crank shaft position is, it doesn't know when and how much fuel and spark to give. go here http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/b15...op-manual.html and download the shop manual to test your crank shaft position sensor. If it's bad, replace it and the other code should go away. If it doesn't, you could be dealing with a coil problem causing the misfire. Test the coils and you should find the problem. <edit> just saw you changed the coils, probably the problem is the crank shaft position sensor, that will cause your symptoms.
