parts interchange

I got some suspension springs from a 2002 ser and was wondering if they will work with the 2001 gxe. The reason I am asking is because I was looking to buy new shocks and they list different struts for the front of a 2002 ser than the 2001 gxe. Also does the upper strut bearing wear alot or need changing with the struts.

don't know about fitment, but replacing just the springs is a total PITA and lower springs will cause the shocks to wear out fast as hell, though I'm not sure how much lower the SE-R is compared to the GXE... probably be best to go with a complete kit if you can afford it.
